Proprio ora ci è arrivata un'email da Ayase in cui ci fornisce alcuni chiarimenti riguardo l'uscita della Patch 1.9 di Aion nei server NA e EU. Abbiamo riportato la mail sia in inglese che tradotta in italiano in modo da comprendere meglio la posizione di NCsoft West al riguardo.
Hey guys,
NCsoft's quarterly earnings report call was recently published and caused some misunderstanding out there. Some people were lead to believe that 1.9 will not be applied to servers until late summer, July/August. This is of course not correct. Our plan is still to get it out in May.
In case this has been picked up by your community, let me try to explain how it was misunderstood.
The below was roughly said in the conference call:
"In terms of the overseas update schedule, the 1.9 update will be from June to August so it will depend on the territory. We are planning to update 1.9 in the EU/US first then in other asian territories afterwards."
The above does not mean that the 1.9 update will be released in August. It means that globally, 1.9 will be rolled out within this time frame. We're very early to do it here in the West, we've been aiming for May, and still are. We can't rule out (and I never have been) that it might slip by a couple of days and roll over into June, but that's something we can't predict and right now things are looking good.

Salve ragazzi,
Recentemente è stato pubblicato il resoconto quadrimestrale di NCsoft ed ha causato alcuni faintedimenti. Alcune persone sono state indotte a credere che Aion 1.9 non sarà applicato se non in tarda estate, Luglio/Agosto. Ciò ovviamente non è corretto. Secondo i nostri piani abbiamo ancora intenzione di introdurre la patch nel mese di Maggio.
In caso questo fraintendimento ci sia stato anche nella vostra community, lasciatemi spiegare che cosa è successo.
Durante la conferenza è stata detta questa frase:
"In termini d'aggiornamento programmato per l'occidente, l'aggiornamento alla versione 1.9 avverrà tra Luglio e Agosto, a seconda che ci si trovi in NA o in EU. Abbiamo intenzione di aggiornare alla 1.9 i server NA/EU prima che nei territori asiatici."
La frase di cui sopra non vuol dire che la versione 1.9 di Aion uscirà ad Agosto. Vuol dire che la versione 1.9 uscirà a mano a mano fino ad Agosto. Abbiamo intenzione di iniziare l'aggiornamento a Maggio, ed è ancora così. Non si può escludere (e non l'ho mai fatto) che si possa ritardare di un paio di giorni ed arrivare a Giugno, ma è qualcosa che non possiamo prevedere e al momento tutto sta andando bene.
